Step 8
Increase your customer base so the orders placed every month exceed the $200 wholesale activation limit and always remain active enjoying the very generous income the company offers.

Tips & Warnings
You must maintain an active status in order to qualify for the company discount, but since Mark Kay products are easy to sell and most customers reorder on a regular basis, once your customer base is established, you should have no problem staying active. But if in fact you aren't quite there one quarter, just pre-order products for your store. It's better to have the products on hand before the orders are placed. In this, "I want it now" world we live in having a store filled with products is the ideal way to service your customers and keep them coming back for more.

Conduct a Mary Kay Interview

Conducting Mary Kay interviews is vital to the success of your Mary Kay business. Having friends and family participate in interviews with you and your director is an ideal training tool for you to learn what you need to know about the Mary Kay company. An average of one in five interviews results in a new recruit so schedule as many interviews with your director as you can.

Difficulty: Easy

Instructions

Step 1
Schedule a time that is good for you, your director and your possible recruit.

Step 2
Have your director call you and your recruit on a conference call line. Most directors have a conference call line available so let her make the calls.

Step 3
Listen to your director ask your recruits questions. Pay attention to the questions she is asking. Someday you might be the one asking.

Step 4
Tell your recruit to ask your director questions so you can hear how your director answers each question. This is an ideal opportunity for you to learn as much as you can about the Mary Kay products and the business opportunity.

Tips & Warnings

Mary Kay is the number one selling brand of cosmetics in the United States. Many people don't know that. By asking friends and family to participate in a conference call you are actually doing them the favor of enlightening them with the facts about Mary Kay.

Don't try to tackle your own Mary Kay interviews until after you've done a few with your director. This is a one time opportunity to share the facts with someone you know. You want to give her as much information as possible, but you can't share with her something you do not know.
